Juried Exhibition
About the Theme - MKE Takin' It To The Streets
This photography exhibition will feature images of life on the streets in Milwaukee, WI and its suburbs.
Light Ideas Gallery encourages all photographers both amateur and professional to participate in this exhibition.
The challenge is on for you to pit your wits against the streets and capture that "decisive moment". Images can be an
iconic view or a shot that captures "the moment" or "slice of life" on the streets. The only requirement is
that the photos must be taken on the streets of Milwaukee.
Exhibition
As a benefit of being selected for this exhibition, photographers and their work will be printed and featured in the Gallery Night and Day event at Light Ideas
Gallery on April 16 and 17, 2010. The Juror's Choice Award winner along with the top 14 favorites of the judges will be exhibited for the
Gallery Night and Day event and on the LIG web site. The Juror's Choice award winner will also be featured in a article in KEY Milwaukee Magazine.
Awards
One (1) Juror's Choice Award: $50.00 USD
Fourteen (14) Judge's Favorites
Entry Fees
The entry fee for this exhibition is $10 USD per image or $25 USD for three images.
There is a limit of nine (9) entries per person.
Deadline for Entries
All entries must be received between February 15, 2010 and March 31, 2010. From April 1, 2010 to April 10, 2010 the judges will make their selections.
Award winners will be notified on April 12, 2010.
